The Land of Tainan County is very wide.  Tsengwen River divides it into the northern and southern areas.  The county government established the "Southern District Community Center" on 3/8/1998 in order to balance the development in these two areas and to be better able to consider the convenience for the populace.  It set up under both the Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Administrative Room at that time, inside the facility is a magnificent performance hall and the art museum, it also has multi-purpose conference rooms, training rooms, and so on.

   The new century needed to have a new scene. When County Magistrate Su-Huan-Chih started to work, he expanded the function and the work efficiency to serve the populace. After the county government completed transformation of the organization on 10/26/2003, he promoted the organization functions of "Southern District Community Center ", and changed its name to "Tainan County Southern District Community Service Center ", as the second level of institutions under the jurisdiction of Administration Room. The service content is very comprehensive, such as promoting cultural activity, industry and commerce service, employment counseling, lifelong education, and even law support.  It's all-embracing, and is simply the miniature version of the county government system used to satisfy the populace's demands in the south of Tsengwen River of Tainan County.

    This center establishes "the citizen society" as its mission, the organization established the General Affairs group, Cultural Activity Group, Industry and Commerce Service Group, Lifelong Education Group to strengthen the efficiency and serve people, its purpose is to promote art and cultural activities, as well as encourage the populace to pursue new knowledge and lifelong study.

General Affairs group：
◎ This group needs to plan the central administration service, contains the Human affairs, Compiles general accounts, has Cashiering, Procurement, General affairs, Research and evaluation, and so on.

◎ Besides administrative services, it is also responsible for the square outdoor concert areas, the cultural course, counsels the locomotive license test, and so on.

◎ Every Saturday morning from 9 to 11:30, provides "free" law problematic explanation, general law knowledge guidance, and also helps to mediate the transfer labor dispute.

2. International Assembly Hall each performance 3,000 NT dollars

3, Conference Room  each performance 2,000 NT dollars

4, Training Room  each performance 1,500 NT dollars

5, The Square each performance 1,000 NT dollars

P.S.1. The halls have three time periods for use - morning, afternoon, and evening.  Evenings cannot surpass 10 o'clock, if there is a special situation that needs to be extended after 10 o'clock, that must be agreed to by our center, then extension may be granted.
2.    The performance time takes 3 hours as one unit, under 3 hours the charge is still 3 hours.  Anything over 3 hours, must add one more unit (3 hours).

Cultural Activity Service：
They are the artistic managers, in charge of all the business plans of the performance hall, they manage art activities and even help to create new artists, they also will have do research and promote the visual art and international exchange. They also must let art go into the campuses and the community, unifies school and the community resources to conduct literary arts activities.

Lifelong Education Group：
The activity center holds art and cultural courses in both spring and fall of every year. The center also has the winter and summer children’s camp, and some other similar training activities, lecture courses, the South Brook Mobile Movie Theater and some cultural activities. All of these are the crystallization of the Lifelong Education Group's labors; volunteers are also recruits trained by this group.

Employment Counseling Service：
This center sets up under the Kueijen Employment Service Station. We provide companies and individuals to chance to register to seek information for employment.  We also offer data about career information, and employment service guidance.  Also provided is some related information and so on.
